Business Intelligence - Data Warehousing
Recently I have undertaken a project that requires the use of data warehousing using
Microsoft Business Intelligence Development Studio. This has involved taking global sales
from different sources in different file formats then cleansing and warehousing the data.
This methodology give a great base for business intelligence applications and will lead
to opportunities to use the data to provide advantages to the business planning department.
Artificial Inteligence
As a personal interest of mine I have decided to further my knowledge of this are and to
see where artificial intelligence methodologies can aid performance and functionality in everyday
applications.
The application that is beiong designed currently and will be soon built will focua heavily on
path deterministics and supremely efficent search algorithims. There will also be scope for implementation
of knowledge representations usuing techniques such as nueral networking.
Web Tutorials
I'm currently presenting a selection of web development tutorials for the Powergen group. These include a variety of subjects based on ASP.NET in c#.
The aim of these tutorials is to take sombody with none of very little experience in web design and get them to produce a fully function database driven website within 10 weeks or 30 hours tuition.
I am currently co presenting these tutorials with Harry Jennerway to around 20 people.
Dragonfly Business
Dragonfly Business Consultancy are a company based in Warrington specialising in improving businesses using their specialist techniques.
They require a brand new website with, Content Management, Customer Management, Subscription Management and many other bespoke features such as the ability to change the company logo.
This website Prototype was delivered on time with great reception. The Beta version is now with the client.
